Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in restaurant or food service management

Job Duties

  • Support the General Manager by coaching the team and creating a positive work environment
  • Manage daily operations and staff of the restaurant
  • Execute all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices
  • Lead, interview, train, and develop all subordinate employees
  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales
  • Review monthly budgets and profit and loss statements
  • Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • Monitor crew prep, production, and procedures to manage costs
  • Track waste levels and food costs to reduce waste and theft
  • Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profits plans
  • Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew feedback
  • Train crew to respond promptly to customer needs and maintain service standards
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness and direct correction of cleaning deficiencies
  • Train new products and assist in training new managers
  • Cross-train crew for efficient shift coverage
  • Monitor inventory and complete physical inventory as required
  • Receive weekly food deliveries and maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
  • Follow restaurant priorities and manage shifts to quality standards
  • Follow operational procedures and safety guidelines
  • Perform administrative duties including crew scheduling
  • Follow preventative maintenance program and train crew on equipment maintenance
