Job Duties
- manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales
- review budget and profit and loss statements monthly
- promote customer satisfaction to build sales
- monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to control costs
- track waste levels using established procedures
- communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
- assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
- monitor food costs to reduce waste and theft
- monitor product quality during shifts by engaging with customers
- manage crew performance and provide feedback
- take and assess service times to improve efficiency
- train crew in customer service and courtesy
- take corrective actions to improve service times
- train crew to solicit customer feedback
- set and communicate daily sales and service goals
- train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
- enforce restaurant cleaning plans
- direct crew to address cleaning deficiencies
- train crew on new products
- assist General Manager in training new managers
- implement Crew Orientation and Training processes
- train new crew members in initial position skills
- cross-train crew for efficient coverage

- follow flowcharts to meet preparation and production goals

- receive weekly food deliveries

- ensure standards and procedures are followed during shifts
- manage shift to achieve quality standards of 80 percent or higher
- take action on anticipated or identified problems
- follow operations manual procedures
- maintain safe working conditions
- adhere to cash control policies
- report accidents promptly
- comply with health department requirements
- use effective shift management checklists
- perform administrative duties as required
- create crew schedules aligned with management plans
- comply with crew benefits standards if applicable
- follow Preventative Maintenance Program
- train and monitor equipment maintenance by crew
