Job Duties

  • manage labor costs based on sales projections
  • review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • monitor crew prep, production, and procedures to control costs
  • track waste levels using established procedures
  • communicate sales and profit problems to General Manager or District Manager
  • assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
  • monitor food costs to prevent waste and theft
  • monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew performance
  • measure service times and train crew to improve efficiency and courtesy
  • establish daily sales goals
  • maintain restaurant cleanliness and direct corrective actions
  • train crew on new products and skills
  • assist in training new managers
  • cross-train crew for efficient coverage
  • recognize high-performing crewmembers
  • follow prep and production flowcharts
  • monitor inventory levels and intake deliveries
