Job Duties

  • manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during the shift
  • review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • build sales by promoting customer satisfaction
  • monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to control costs
  • track waste levels using established procedures
  • communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • assist in executing restaurant sales and profits plan
  • monitor food costs to reduce waste and theft
  • monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew feedback
  • measure service times and determine efficiency
  • train crew to respond promptly to customer needs and provide courteous service
  • take corrective actions to improve service times
  • solicit customer feedback to gauge satisfaction
  • establish and communicate daily sales on service goals
  • train crew to maintain cleanliness and follow cleaning plans
  • direct crew to address cleaning deficiencies
  • train crew on new products and orientation processes
  • assist in training new managers
  • cross-train crew for efficient shift coverage
