Job Duties
- manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during the shift
- review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
- build sales by promoting customer satisfaction
- monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to control costs
- track waste levels using established procedures
- communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
- assist in executing restaurant sales and profits plan
- monitor food costs to reduce waste and theft
- monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew feedback
- measure service times and determine efficiency
- train crew to respond promptly to customer needs and provide courteous service
- take corrective actions to improve service times
- solicit customer feedback to gauge satisfaction
- establish and communicate daily sales on service goals
- train crew to maintain cleanliness and follow cleaning plans
- direct crew to address cleaning deficiencies
- train crew on new products and orientation processes
- assist in training new managers
- cross-train crew for efficient shift coverage
- recognize high performers
- follow prep and production flowcharts
- monitor inventory and complete physical counts
- receive weekly food deliveries
- maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
- follow restaurant priorities and execute standards during shifts
- manage shifts to quality, service, and cleanliness standards of 80 percent or better
- take appropriate actions when problems arise
- follow procedures in the operations manual
- maintain safe working conditions
- comply with cash control policies
- report accidents promptly
- resolve operational issues identified by health inspectors
- manage shifts using established checklists
- perform administrative duties as directed
- write crew schedules
