Job Requirements
- Documented experience managing complex QSR or Casual Dine restaurants
- Demonstrated success in P&L responsibility over multiple annual cycles
- Ability to manage varied and rotating work schedules
- Capability to work onsite during diverse operating hours
- Requires knowledge of federal, state, and local safety standards
- Ability to conduct training and enforce health and safety protocols
- Capacity to understand and apply brand standards and policies
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five to seven years of restaurant experience
- At least three years of P&L management experience in QSR or Casual Dine
- Graduation from Food Service Management or Culinary program preferred
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Ability to delegate and resolve issues effectively
- Knowledge of HMSHost policies, products, and operational standards
- Proficient in management information systems and technology adoption
- Strong communication skills including reading and writing ability
Job Duties
- Open and close the restaurant according to company standards
- Ensure proper staffing and deployment to maximize profitability
- Assign work tasks, prepare schedules, and cover shifts
- Provide consistent coaching and support to achieve goals
- Interview, hire, promote, and manage restaurant associates
- Monitor financial and operational data to meet objectives
- Maintain product availability and equipment functionality
- Implement brand standards and marketing initiatives
- Manage customer and associate relations and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations
