Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Ensure cost control for food, labor, cash, and controllable expenses to meet company budgets
  • Drive positive sales growth by improving service speed, food quality, and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels for all shifts and scheduling needs
  • Conduct performance appraisals for crew members, shift managers, and assistant general managers
  • Lead the hiring process for all restaurant staff positions
  • Coach and train all team members to achieve certification and performance standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization adhering to food service sanitation guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws at local, state, and federal levels
  • Verify and promote safety standards for employees and guests
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and coordinate necessary repairs
  • Handle guest complaints to promote repeat business
  • Communicate operational results effectively with area management
  • Manage employee turnover through effective selection and positive work environment
  • Prepare food and handle register operations as needed
