Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- current food management certification
- ownership mentality
- flexibility for scheduling
- willingness to transfer to a different geographical location
- valid driver’s license
- reliable transportation
- ability to count currency and make change
- basic math skills
- basic computer skills
- understanding of health code standards
- ability to issue written performance evaluations
- ability to communicate in English
- physical stamina to stand and move about for up to 4 hours at a moderate pace
- ability to work 50 to 55 hours per week

- coordination to operate kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications
- Must have current food management certification
- must possess and demonstrate an ownership mentality
- must have flexibility for scheduling as Flanigan’s is open 365 days per year
- must be willing to transfer to a different geographical location
- must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- must be adept at ordering and formulating pars
- must have basic math skills including the ability to count currency and make change, as well as use a calculator to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- must have basic computer skills
- must understand and facilitate proper health code standards
- must adhere to Flanigan’s always hiring policy and conduct interviews in a timely fashion
- must issue written evaluations for positive and/or negative performance
- must be able to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
- must be able to read and write English
Job Duties
- Communicate concerning all kitchen issues with management throughout the course of the day
- must read as well as write notes in the manager’s daily log
- attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
- read the weekly memo
- complete weekly/monthly employee evaluations
- communicate with all managers on duty when shift is completed
- relate an accurate, honest report of all events both positive and negative
- comply with all policies, rules and directions covered in manuals, memos, and meetings
- attend the quarterly supervisor meetings
