Job Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in restaurant management
- experience managing bar operations in an upscale environment
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- fluency in English for written and spoken instructions
- ability to handle complex employee relations discreetly
- capacity to remain calm under pressure
- commitment to a strong work ethic and professional growth
- familiarity with classic cookery and beverage service
- proficiency with computer software including POS and scheduling
- ability to obtain necessary food and alcohol certifications
- availability for full-time flexible scheduling including nights weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting pushing pulling and standing for extended periods
- ability to carry trays multiple plates and glassware
- mobility for continuous reaching bending stooping and navigating stairs ramps and elevators
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in a management position at a full-service upscale restaurant
- experience as a bar manager in a high volume upscale restaurant
- strong communication skills written and verbal
- ability to understand speak and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- ability to demonstrate discretion and leadership in complex employee relations matters
- ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
- strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow
- professional understanding of classic cookery wine beer and cocktails
- strong computer skills including Microsoft Office events/catering software timekeeping/scheduling and point-of-sale systems
- must be able to obtain food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications
- flexible and dependable to work full-time day or night shifts weekends and holidays up to 50 hours a week
Job Duties
- support restaurant operational objectives
- provide leadership support to the General Manager
- ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
- oversee food handling and responsible alcohol service standards
- maintain cleanliness and safety in the restaurant
- interact with guests to address and resolve concerns
- coach and develop team members
- manage the bar area
