Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous restaurant management experience
  • ability to supervise multiple employees in a high-volume environment
  • excellent organizational skills
  • strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • knowledge of OSHA regulations and sanitation standards
  • proficiency with POS systems and cash handling
  • flexibility to perform various operational roles
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Maintain profit and loss authority over the assigned location
  • manage reservation system, flow of service, staff scheduling, schedule adjustments, and attendance notices
  • facilitate staff briefings prior to shifts and be expert on menu items and guest information
  • identify talent internally and externally, conduct interviews, hire and onboard new associates
  • monitor staff performance, train and develop associates through discussions, evaluations, and education
  • motivate and inspire team, recognize excellent performance, coach and document improvements
  • encourage staff to embrace company mission and values, display passion for hospitality and quality improvement
  • maintain knowledge of company and departmental policies and communicate expectations
  • promote excellent guest service and handle guest concerns professionally
  • maintain restaurant cleanliness and sanitation compliance with OSHA and health codes
  • ensure equipment maintenance and safe operation
  • manage POS system functions and cash handling accountability
  • assist with marketing and promotional programs
  • create schedules that meet financial needs and ensure guest experience
  • approve daily and weekly payroll hours
  • perform duties of Host, Server, Server Assistant, and Food Runner when needed
  • communicate daily with President, General Manager, and VP of Culinary Operations
  • enforce adherence to all side work
  • maintain positive relationships with kitchen staff
  • perform additional tasks as assigned by President or General Manager
