Job Requirements

  • Minimum two to three years restaurant management experience
  • High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers
  • Able to resolve conflicts guests, supervisor and employee
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws and regulations
  • Strong floor presence with focus and energy
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Duties

  • Participates in development and implementation of business strategies for the restaurant aligned with Radisson Blu’s mission and values
  • Develops and implements strategies for department and Food & Beverage outlets
  • Monitors status regularly and adjusts strategies as appropriate
  • Manages operation of assigned restaurant or outlet including coordination of set-up and daily specials confirmation
  • Coaches employees on effective sales and service techniques
  • Inspects restaurant and outlet areas to ensure standards are met
  • Leads staff meetings and conducts daily pre-shift meetings
  • Develops and implements employee engagement strategies including recruitment, training, and ongoing performance feedback
  • Creates 100 percent guest satisfaction through genuine hospitality and problem resolution
