Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals

  • Ability to respond to inquiries from employees or guests
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret data from graphs
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations
  • Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, and manual dexterity
  • Ability to maintain specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Willingness to work in a loud and potentially smoky casino environment

Job Qualifications

  • Four year college degree preferred
  • Minimum four years restaurant manager experience required
  • Appropriate licenses as required
  • ServSafe certification or ability to become certified
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of wine, spirits, and formal table service
  • Ability to work well under stressful conditions
  • Level 2 Gaming License required

Job Duties

  • Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures in the fine dining venue
  • Complies with all food and beverage health, liquor and safety regulations, as well as federal, state, and local applicable laws
  • Schedules, evaluates, and trains venue employees ensuring staff compliance with guest service standards
  • Reviews and approves recommendations on hiring, transfers, suspensions, promotions, discharges, evaluations, assignments, and discipline of venue employees
  • Maximizes cost effectiveness by ensuring compliance with budget, labor, and revenue benchmarks
  • Monitors job performance of all employees and provides feedback for skill development
  • Maintains professional grooming and appearance, acting as a role model
  • Sets priorities for supervisors and provides necessary assistance
