Job Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals
- Ability to write effective reports and memos
- Ability to respond to inquiries from employees or guests
- Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret data from graphs
- Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations
- Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, and manual dexterity
- Ability to maintain specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Willingness to work in a loud and potentially smoky casino environment
Job Qualifications
- Four year college degree preferred
- Minimum four years restaurant manager experience required
- Appropriate licenses as required
- ServSafe certification or ability to become certified
- Knowledge of HACCP standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of wine, spirits, and formal table service
- Ability to work well under stressful conditions
- Level 2 Gaming License required
Job Duties
- Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures in the fine dining venue
- Complies with all food and beverage health, liquor and safety regulations, as well as federal, state, and local applicable laws
- Schedules, evaluates, and trains venue employees ensuring staff compliance with guest service standards
- Reviews and approves recommendations on hiring, transfers, suspensions, promotions, discharges, evaluations, assignments, and discipline of venue employees
- Maximizes cost effectiveness by ensuring compliance with budget, labor, and revenue benchmarks
- Monitors job performance of all employees and provides feedback for skill development
- Maintains professional grooming and appearance, acting as a role model
- Sets priorities for supervisors and provides necessary assistance
