Job Requirements

  • General knowledge of fine dining food preparation, presentation and serving procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of fine wines, wine pairings, and wine service procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of liquor and cocktail service
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime
  • Alcohol Awareness Service Card

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years' supervisory experience
  • Minimum of four years' experience working in a fine dining establishment

Job Duties

  • Lead, direct, and delegate tasks to the Duke's Steakhouse Front of House team to maintain high performance and service standards
  • Convey positive energy and enthusiasm focused on guest interaction
  • promptly address and resolve service issues to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Demonstrate excellent customer relations skills and actively promote Duke's Steakhouse and Legends Bay Casino
  • Collaborate as a team player by assisting the team with their duties as needed
  • Create effective schedules to ensure excellent levels of service
  • Interview, hire, and train new team members as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the restaurant
