Job Requirements

  • More than two years of post high school education
  • two to three full years of experience in a related position
  • thorough knowledge of restaurant and hotel practices and procedures
  • ability to manage and communicate effectively
  • strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • ability to read and implement policies and standard operating procedures
  • knowledge of chemical agents for training
  • physical ability to lift 20-40 lbs, bend, stand continuously, and climb stairs
  • must work inside 95% of the time
  • flexible to work near outdoor dining areas with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees

Job Duties

  • Manage the associates in the various outlets in order to attract, retain and motivate the employees
  • hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communications and recommend discipline and termination, as appropriate
  • implement company programs and manage the operations of the restaurant, room service and other food and beverage outlets ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations
  • forecast, implement, monitor, control and report on the various outlet budgets including labor costs, food costs, beverage costs, supplies, and equipment to maximize revenue and minimize expenses
  • respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience
  • create, recommend and implement promotions, displays, buffet presentations and ideas to capture more in-house guests and increase local market share
  • monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of all outlet areas and equipment to protect assets and ensure quality service
