  • able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 lbs and place items on high and low shelves

  • must meet health regulations pertaining to food handling
  • able to operate point-of-sale systems and handle money
  • able to work with all menu products
  • able to work around potentially hazardous chemicals
  • sufficient mobility for confined work areas
  • must work inside and outside
  • able to observe staff and all restaurant operations
  • able to stand and walk during 10 to 12 hour shifts
  • able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in kitchen and freezer

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant, hospitality or retail management
  • additional operations and leadership experience preferred
  • associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to work a minimum of 50 hours a week
  • food safety manager certification required
  • strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • basic math skills
  • values diversity and respect for others
  • proven ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations
  • ability to interpret financial statements
  • able to perform job duties of every position

Job Duties

  • Promotes company mission, vision and core values
  • willingly assists others without being asked
  • prepares and interprets financial and operational reports and schedules
  • analyzes data and develops solutions to ensure operating goals are achieved
  • assists the general manager by overseeing assigned shifts and monitors brand standards execution and adherence
  • assists in the achievement of controllable profit goals by monitoring controls and taking corrective action
  • develops and coaches hourly employees on brand standards, corporate policies and procedures, and guest focused programs
  • works with the general manager to attract, hire, onboard and retain hourly talent
  • brings employee relations issues and deviations from brand standards to general manager
  • works with general manager to develop hourly employees through training programs
  • develops relationships with community organizations to increase guest counts
  • monitors security procedures
  • enforces sanitary food handling practices
  • creates an enjoyable and respectful environment
  • maintains compliance with employment policies and regulations
  • follows cash handling, inventory and operational procedures
  • completes other assigned tasks
