Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays and special events as needed
  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality and guest service experience
  • Possession of Title 4 and Food Handlers card
  • Knowledge of modern filing and recordkeeping practices and procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, G suite, word processing, email and spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to communicate positively and instruct team members
  • Ability to balance teamwork, guest service, and profitability

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the tasks of employees on shift to ensure a smooth flow of operations
  • Ensure that guests experience the highest level of service by effectively training, coaching and developing employees
  • Provide regular communications between management, team leaders, and subordinates
  • Complete shift notes daily
  • Take ownership for hospitality and guest experience, addressing concerns and finding solutions in response to guest feedback
  • Complete the opening and closing checklists daily while on shift
  • Manage guest services and employee relations, communicating with General Manager and Human Resources
  • Responsible for daily cash handling
  • Balance drawers, issue drawers, fill out daily safe log, ticket log, and weekly ticket inventory
  • Assist in recruitment and hiring of front-of-house staff adhering to established protocols
  • Conduct voids and refunds audit
  • Conduct weekly ticket inventory audit
  • Observe and report safety compliance and maintenance needs
  • Assist with injury reports for guests and employees
  • Monitor and control cleanliness of building, theatres, and restrooms
  • Monitor for potential theft and notify management and owners immediately
  • Understand projector operations and troubleshoot when needed
  • Use proper procedures and follow set policies
  • Maintain situational awareness and assist as needed, including running food and drinks or helping at the bar or concession stand
  • Work on projects assigned by General Manager or Assistant General Manager
  • Stay present on the floor to constantly monitor business activity
  • Respond to social media messages and reviews daily (up to 1 hour on weekdays)
  • Coordinate comment card and mystery shopper program and report to management and ownership
  • Conduct random food and beverage quality and cleanliness inspections and report findings
