Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
- or 2-year degree in related field
- 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
- ability to supervise and manage a team
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to handle guest issues professionally
- availability to work full time
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with 2 years experience
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- ability to develop and implement training programs
- excellent communication skills
- knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and liquor laws
- experience in financial management
Job Duties
- Supervises and manages employees
- manages all day-to-day restaurant operations
- maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas
- reviews staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
- utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence and encourage the team
- ensures compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
- provides exceptional customer service and handles guest complaints
- coaches and mentors team members
- manages financial aspects including purchasing and invoice payments
- assists servers and hosts during peak meal times
