Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree in related field
  • 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
  • ability to supervise and manage a team
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to handle guest issues professionally
  • availability to work full time
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with 2 years experience
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • ability to develop and implement training programs
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and liquor laws
  • experience in financial management

Job Duties

  • Supervises and manages employees
  • manages all day-to-day restaurant operations
  • maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas
  • reviews staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
  • utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence and encourage the team
  • ensures compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
  • provides exceptional customer service and handles guest complaints
  • coaches and mentors team members
  • manages financial aspects including purchasing and invoice payments
  • assists servers and hosts during peak meal times
