Job Requirements

  • Must have current food management certification
  • Must possess and demonstrate an ownership mentality
  • Must have flexibility for scheduling as Flanigan's is open 365 days per year
  • Must be willing to transfer to a different geographical location
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must understand and facilitate proper health code standards
  • Must be able to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Requires the ability to stand, and the mobility to move about at a moderate pace, for up to 4 hours at length and stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
  • Must have the coordination necessary to operate kitchen equipment
  • Must adhere to dress and grooming policies

  • Ability to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Physical stamina to stand and move about for up to 4 hours and work 50 to 55 hours per week
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl

Job Duties

  • Communicate concerning all kitchen issues with management throughout the course of the day
  • Read and write notes in the manager's daily log
  • Attend weekly manager's meetings and monthly staff meetings
  • Read weekly memos
  • Complete weekly and monthly employee evaluations
  • Communicate with all managers on duty when shift is completed
  • Report accurately both positive and negative events
  • Comply with all policies, rules and directions in manuals, memos, and meetings
  • Attend quarterly supervisor meetings
