Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Smile and always maintain a positive attitude
- follow all Chickie's & Pete's service standards
- resolve customer complaints about food quality or service taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
- direct cleaning of kitchen and dining areas to maintain sanitation standards
- monitor actions of staff and guests to ensure that health and safety standards and liquor regulations are followed
- check quality of deliveries including fresh and frozen food, seafood, and baked goods
- arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services
- recruit, hire, train and when necessary, terminate employees
- ensure all paperwork is in order
- develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations
- provide management staff with performance reviews
- maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs
- prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts
- relief staff when needed to maintain proper labor numbers
- adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs
- responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
- ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances
- responsible for ensuring consistent high quality food preparation and service
- maintain professional restaurant image including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
- meet store budget by minimizing expense items and managing overall P&L of store
- work with corporate office staff for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies
- supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste
- ensure proper security procedures are in place to protect staff, guests, and company assets
- ensure a safe working and dining environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
- complete accident reports promptly in the event a guest or employee is injured
- execute store promotional events
- facilitate communication to ensure management and staff is aware of specials and promotions
- delegate effectively to management staff
- cater to high profile, VIP guests
- additional tasks as assigned
