Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 8 to 10 years of related experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Minimum 5 years management experience
  • Knowledge of Arizona State Liquor Laws Title 4
  • Arizona Alcohol Awareness certification
  • Must possess a Maricopa County Food Handler's Card
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of POS systems (Infogenesis preferred)
  • Experience with timekeeping/payroll systems (Kronos preferred)
  • Experience with inventory and purchasing systems (SWS preferred)
  • Strong communication and supervisory skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in Hospitality Management preferred
  • 8 to 10 years related experience in food and beverage industry
  • Minimum 5 years in a management role

  • Strong communication and supervisory skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work harmoniously with team members
  • Well-groomed appearance
  • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Experience with Kronos timekeeping and SWS inventory systems.

Job Duties

  • Ensures excellent customer service for every guest, every time
  • Oversees daily floor operation of the restaurant and beverage outlet
  • Develops daily opening and closing duties for the restaurant with Dining Shift Supervisors
  • Works with chefs on promoting daily food specials
  • Coordinates pricing and menu changes on the POS system
  • Coordinates with IT on menus or specials appearing on casino monitors
  • Helps with advertising ideas to promote the restaurant
  • Approves all employee schedules for the restaurant and bars
  • Verifies validity of casino complimentary slips for food and beverage checks
  • Coordinates customer service training for the department
  • Responsible for monthly inventory counts and management of china, glass, silverware
  • Assists in managing front of house food and beverage operations and instructs personnel on safety and health standards
  • Oversees daily cashier check out and reconciliation of monies from POS system
  • Ensures compliance with sanitation and personal hygiene standards
  • Conducts weekly/monthly inventory control of silverware, glassware, and china
  • Plans and implements operating plans and budgets
  • Maintains and executes policies and procedures within multiple restaurants
  • Administers training programs and conducts performance reviews
  • Ensures hiring practices and employee disciplinary actions comply with policies
  • Maintains staff records including Kronos and training certifications
  • Oversees food and beverage outlets in absence of managers
  • Hires and trains Tribal Members consistent with community guidelines.
