Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of restaurant supervision or management experience
  • Ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Certification
  • Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, and alcohol
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with POS systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Professional appearance and manner
  • Must adhere to grooming standards with no visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair colors

Job Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of high-volume restaurant supervision or management experience
  • Ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Certification
  • Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, and alcohol
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with POS systems
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Job Duties

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Toucan Charlie's Buffet and Grille
  • Oversee supervisors, hosts, cashiers, bussers, dessert attendants, and food servers
  • Conduct staff selection and interview process
  • Assist with training new team members
  • Provide support and direction to all buffet team members
  • Resolve team member issues and promote team building
  • Promote positive guest relations and resolve complaints
  • Ensure compliance with company, health, and regulatory standards
  • Monitor operation to improve service and financial performance
  • Prepare work schedules and delegate assignments
  • Conduct team member performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
  • Inspect restaurant cleanliness and safety compliance
  • Greet and communicate with guests
  • Facilitate communication among team members and supervisors
  • Operate POS and inventory systems
  • Manage repairs and maintenance
  • Control costs through effective scheduling and waste management
  • Develop and implement new operational ideas
  • Perform other assigned duties
