Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience in a high volume setting
- Ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and alcohol
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- Adherence to grooming standards with no visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair colors
- Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years high volume restaurant supervision or management experience
- Ability to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Ability to obtain a Food Safety Certification
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and alcohol
- Good organizational skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge in use of POS systems
- Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Professional appearance in dress and manner
Job Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of Toucan Charlie's Buffet and Grille
- Oversee supervisors, host/cashiers, bussers, dessert attendants, and food servers
- Participate in staff selection and interview process
- Assist with training new team members
- Supervise and support all Buffet Team Members
- Resolve team member issues and promote positive communication
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints concerning food quality and service
- Ensure compliance with company, health, and regulatory standards
- Prepare work schedules and delegate assignments
- Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Greet guests and provide courteous service
- Operate POS and inventory systems
- Facilitate repairs and maintenance
- Manage costs and increase revenue through training and financial insights
- Implement new operational ideas and improve efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned
