Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience in a high volume setting
  • Ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Certification
  • Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, and alcohol
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication
  • Proficiency with POS systems
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office
  • Adherence to grooming standards with no visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair colors
  • Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years high volume restaurant supervision or management experience
  • Ability to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Certification
  • Ability to obtain a Food Safety Certification
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, and alcohol
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge in use of POS systems
  • Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Professional appearance in dress and manner

Job Duties

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Toucan Charlie's Buffet and Grille
  • Oversee supervisors, host/cashiers, bussers, dessert attendants, and food servers
  • Participate in staff selection and interview process
  • Assist with training new team members
  • Supervise and support all Buffet Team Members
  • Resolve team member issues and promote positive communication
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints concerning food quality and service
  • Ensure compliance with company, health, and regulatory standards
  • Prepare work schedules and delegate assignments
  • Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Greet guests and provide courteous service
  • Operate POS and inventory systems
  • Facilitate repairs and maintenance
  • Manage costs and increase revenue through training and financial insights
  • Implement new operational ideas and improve efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned
