Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years experience in restaurant supervision or management
  • ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Certification
  • ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to operate POS and computer systems
  • physically able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • no visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair colors as per grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years high volume restaurant supervision or management experience
  • ability to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Certification
  • ability to obtain a Food Safety Certification
  • knowledge of beer, wine, and alcohol
  • good organizational skills
  • good interpersonal communication skills
  • knowledge in use of POS systems
  • computer knowledge including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • professional appearance in dress and manner

Job Duties

  • manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant
  • supervise supervisors, hosts/cashiers, bussers, dessert attendants, and food servers
  • conduct staff selection and interview process
  • assist with training new team members
  • resolve team member issues and promote team building
  • actively promote positive guest relations and resolve food quality and service complaints
  • ensure compliance with health and regulatory standards
  • prepare work schedules and delegate assignments
  • monitor service quality and correct deficiencies
  • perform restaurant cleanliness inspections
  • greet and communicate with guests
  • communicate with food shift supervisors and team members
  • operate POS and inventory systems
  • facilitate repairs and maintenance
  • maintain documentation through email systems
  • decrease costs through effective scheduling and waste management
  • increase revenue through training and upselling
  • create and implement new ideas
  • identify and implement operational improvements
  • perform other duties as assigned
