Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management
  • must have current food management certification
  • must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to work up to 55 hours per week
  • must be able to travel up to 30 miles from the restaurant location
  • must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • must possess basic computer literacy
  • must demonstrate strong communication skills
  • physical ability to meet job demands
  • must adhere to company policies and standards

Job Qualifications

  • willingness to transfer to different geographical locations
  • valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • adept at ordering and formulating pars
  • basic math skills including currency handling and calculator use
  • basic computer skills
  • understanding of health code standards
  • adherence to hiring policies and conducting timely interviews
  • ability to issue written evaluations
  • ability to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
  • ability to read and write English
  • physical stamina for standing and moving at a moderate pace up to four hours and working 50 to 55 hours per week
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
  • coordination to operate kitchen equipment
  • adherence to dress and grooming policies

Job Duties

  • Communicate concerning all kitchen issues with management throughout the course of the day
  • read as well as write (in English) notes in the manager’s daily log
  • attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
  • read the weekly memo
  • complete weekly/monthly employee evaluations
  • communicate with all managers on duty when shift is completed
  • relate an accurate, honest report of all events both positive and negative
  • comply with all policies, rules and directions covered in manuals, memos, and meetings
  • attend the quarterly supervisor meetings
