Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous restaurant experience
  • management experience preferred
  • successful completion of corporate training program
  • must possess Title 4 Manager Certification
  • must have valid Food Handlers Certification
  • must hold Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong knowledge of restaurant operations
  • excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • strong business acumen and financial management capabilities
  • outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • ability to thrive in fast-paced dynamic environments
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • proficiency with Aloha POS, Hot Schedule, Microsoft Office, Paylocity, Restaurant 365, and Plate IQ
  • physical ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
  • able to stand for prolonged periods and work in kitchen environments with exposure to temperature extremes
  • capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • must be willing to work late nights and unpredictable hours

Job Duties

  • Hire and train restaurant staff
  • organize and oversee staff schedules
  • conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations
  • handle discipline and termination of employees according to restaurant policy
  • foster a positive and collaborative work environment promoting teamwork and open communication
  • set performance goals and provide guidance and support to employees
  • conduct regular staff meetings to share updates and address concerns
  • oversee daily operations ensuring seamless service and exceptional customer experience
  • monitor inventory levels and control costs
  • implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • evaluate and improve operational processes
  • ensure a welcoming dining experience and promptly address guest concerns
  • interact with guests and take feedback for service improvement
  • maintain visible presence and engage with customers
  • manage budgets with Regional Manager including forecasting and expense management
  • monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions
  • drive sales and increase revenue with strategic initiatives
  • conduct menu tastings to maintain quality
  • monitor food and beverage presentation and portion control
  • ensure customer satisfaction with all restaurant aspects
  • handle customer complaints diplomatically
  • ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations
  • manage inventory and purchase supplies
  • conduct daily inspections for compliance with health and safety standards
  • evaluate and schedule equipment maintenance
  • collaborate with chefs on menu development
  • maintain sales records and cash receipts
  • prepare and submit operations reports
  • perform other assigned duties
