Job Requirements

  • T.A.B.C certified
  • food service manager certification
  • experience in restaurant management
  • ability to work approximately 50 hours per week including weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • experience with POS systems and restaurant scheduling software
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on restaurant environment
  • adherence to health and safety regulations

  • no smoking in workplace

Job Duties

  • Oversees food preparation, presentation, quality, freshness, and consistency
  • knows recipes and plate presentations including LTOs to ensure proper ordering and timely staff feedback and training
  • adheres to all rules and regulations of governing bodies
  • maintains confidentiality of restaurant information and systems
  • holds pre-shift, departmental, safety, and staff meetings
  • participates in marketing, promotions, and advertising strategies
  • ensures all equipment is in safe working condition
  • secures building, office, and safe at all times
  • accurately completes opening, closing, and monthly procedures and paperwork
  • participates in scheduling and ordering
  • updates communication tools daily
  • controls expenses and costs
  • programs and uses POS system and restaurant technology
  • operates all restaurant equipment
  • ensures petty cash, bar banks, and income are recorded and deposited properly
  • holds team accountable to systems
  • teaches personal hygiene and safety standards
  • maintains a healthy and respectful work environment
  • directs and assists in employee training
  • conducts interviews, hires, and onboards staff
  • executes annual evaluations and disciplinary actions
  • terminates employees as needed
