Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage industry or restaurant or private club setting
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
- Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Effective communication skills including talking and hearing
- Sufficient visual acuity
- Ability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold/unfold as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage industry or private club setting
- Preferred certifications such as Food Handlers Certificate, Alcohol Safety, STAR Service Certification, STAR Trainer Certification, TABC Certification, and CPR Certification
- Completion of food and beverage training modules including service, host, bartender, banquet, and safety trainings
- Experience handling highly confidential member and employee data
- Proficient computer skills including spreadsheet software
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Maintain invited service standards at high levels
- Provide exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests
- Ensure member/guest orders are accurately executed and delivered promptly
- Supervise service staff to ensure consistent high-quality service
- Monitor reservation book and oversee room setups
- Complete opening and closing procedures for meal shifts
- Assist in training and developing service staff
- Participate in and lead staff meetings and training sessions as directed
- Maintain knowledge of menu and beverage offerings
- Record shift information to ensure smooth handovers
- Communicate updates and special instructions with team members and supervisors
- Assist others and take on additional tasks as assigned
- Follow company and club policies and procedures
- Promote and follow safe working practices
- Address and resolve challenges with support from regional and corporate teams
- Support team efficiency and club goals
