Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage industry or restaurant or private club setting
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Effective communication skills including talking and hearing
  • Sufficient visual acuity
  • Ability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold/unfold as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage industry or private club setting
  • Preferred certifications such as Food Handlers Certificate, Alcohol Safety, STAR Service Certification, STAR Trainer Certification, TABC Certification, and CPR Certification
  • Completion of food and beverage training modules including service, host, bartender, banquet, and safety trainings
  • Experience handling highly confidential member and employee data
  • Proficient computer skills including spreadsheet software
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain invited service standards at high levels
  • Provide exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests
  • Ensure member/guest orders are accurately executed and delivered promptly
  • Supervise service staff to ensure consistent high-quality service
  • Monitor reservation book and oversee room setups
  • Complete opening and closing procedures for meal shifts
  • Assist in training and developing service staff
  • Participate in and lead staff meetings and training sessions as directed
  • Maintain knowledge of menu and beverage offerings
  • Record shift information to ensure smooth handovers
  • Communicate updates and special instructions with team members and supervisors
  • Assist others and take on additional tasks as assigned
  • Follow company and club policies and procedures
  • Promote and follow safe working practices
  • Address and resolve challenges with support from regional and corporate teams
  • Support team efficiency and club goals
