Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry
  • Knowledge of local and federal health and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Proficient in inventory and financial management software
  • Valid food handler's permit or certification
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team

  • Previous experience in restaurant or food and beverage management

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Financial management and budgeting experience

Job Duties

  • Coordinate, plan, prepare and execute food and beverage services to the highest standards
  • Follow up on guest feedback
  • Assist in hiring, training, promotion, and firing of restaurant employees
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards including local liquor and food regulations
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings and coordinate with Chef on menus
  • Work visibly on the floor to ensure flawless execution
  • Inspect room and tables for proper set-up and cleanliness
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • Ensure all closing duties are completed
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
  • Manage all aspects of the restaurant operations
  • Direct and complete scheduled inventories
  • Prepare and adjust weekly staff work schedules
  • Monitor payroll ensuring meal breaks and accurate timecards
  • Manage operating budget and achieve revenue and expense targets
  • Participate in food and beverage budget and forecasting
  • Conduct pre-shift staff meetings
  • Assist in annual performance evaluations
  • Ensure fair treatment of employees
  • Coach team members to improve performance and skills
