Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification
  • minimum 1+ years experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal promote
  • minimum 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruit
  • must be 100% certified in all workstations
  • ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • strong math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • proven analytical and organizational skills
  • ability to work under pressure and handle conflict effectively
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
  • ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of shift
  • physical ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
  • commitment to ethical behavior and integrity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required for internal promotion
  • working toward AA or BA/BS degree preferred
  • AA degree acceptable for external recruits
  • BA/BS in Business or related field preferred
  • minimum 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager and/or 2 years as a First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
  • minimum 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruit
  • must be 100% certified in all workstations
  • completion of Restaurant Manager training classes required
  • ServSafe certification mandatory
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • good command of English language
  • proficient with personal computers and related software
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • ability to use personal vehicle for bank deposits and travel to other locations

Job Duties

  • Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
  • monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • ensures training systems are fully implemented and followed
  • identifies and develops internal candidates for management and Team Leader roles
  • creates an employee-friendly, fun, clean, and safe environment
  • motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance
  • treats employees with respect and dignity
  • recognizes and rewards employees regularly
  • manages daily restaurant operations to achieve excellence
  • ensures exceptional guest experience through proper training and accountability
  • handles guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • maintains brand image of cleanliness, maintenance, and service
  • uses management tools to analyze operational and financial performance
  • identifies trends and implements improvement plans
  • focuses on increasing sales and profitability through effective management
  • monitors costs and adherence to budget and goals
  • protects the Jack in the Box brand through financial decisions
