Job Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional areas
  • ServSafe certification strongly appreciated
  • strong communication skills
  • experience managing a high-volume operation
  • budgeting, forecasting, and sales experience preferred
  • proven ability to lead and develop a team
  • ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
  • exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership

Job Duties

  • Managing a large group of team members
  • good knowledge of POS / Toast - front and back end
  • involved in the full process of hiring and termination and write-ups
  • training all new team members
  • ensuring consistent provision of great service to park guests, owners, and patrons
  • leading, developing, coaching, and supporting food and beverage teams to deliver consistent standards of food, drink, and service
  • managing wages, labor, food, and beverage cost, and controllable expenses
  • ensuring all staff has applicable food safety certifications
  • setting expectations and holding the team accountable for service behaviors
  • establishing realistic and attainable goals to guide operation and performance
  • inventory of restaurant supplies and food/beverage
  • communicating with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
  • assisting in menu planning and pricing
  • managing daily sales and budgets
  • overseeing inventory and input information
  • ensuring kitchen and restaurant safety weekly
  • supervising biweekly payroll input
  • scheduling a large group of team members
  • developing a good working relationship with the Kitchen Manager
  • performing all other duties as directed by the Food & Beverage Director
