This job opening is with an independent franchisee operating a Del Taco restaurant, not Del Taco LLC directly. The franchisee independently manages all employment-related matters including hiring, firing, discipline, wages, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years experience in QSR industry or full service concept
- ServSafe certified
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and math skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of vehicle insurance
- Ability to travel to restaurant locations including overnight travel
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years experience in QSR or full-service restaurant management
- ServSafe certified
- Fluent in English
- Spanish language skills a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and math skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure
- Proven leadership and team motivation skills
- Experience promoting learning, development and career growth
Job Duties
- Fully staff the store with quality people
- Recruit, hire, and retain all restaurant employees
- Ensure the entire team is certified according to current training
- Create a service-oriented culture
- Promote an environment of fun and teamwork
- Evaluate performance and recommend salary increases
- Recommend, approve, and administer disciplinary actions, suspensions, or terminations
- Develop and grow team members and future managers
- Execute Del Taco standards and processes 100% of the time
- Maintain the facility and customer areas
- Maintain all equipment to operational and safety standards
- Deliver quality products to Del Taco standards every time
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and standards
- Ensure employees are in proper uniform
- Ensure a consistent service experience
- Ensure POP and signage are properly placed
- Identify and communicate sales goals
- Ensure right people are in the right places based on sales projections and actuals
- Increase customer count and check average
- Execute Local Store Marketing opportunities
- Stay aware of local events and competition
- Execute speed and service standards
- Flawlessly execute marketing campaigns
- Maintain staffing levels according to sales
- Comply with labor laws
- Order and manage inventory accurately
- Ensure cash handling procedures and standards are followed
- Perform cash audits and resolve issues
- Execute safety and health standards
- Manage service vendors efficiently
- Achieve and communicate controllable cost targets
