Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
  • Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification
  • Minimum of 1+ years as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing service concept with full P&L responsibility for external hire
  • Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Use of personal vehicle for bank deposits and restaurant visits
  • Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager and/or 2 years as a First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruit
  • Must be 100% certified in all workstations
  • Must complete Restaurant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certified
  • Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Good organization and planning skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and accepts responsibility
  • Proficient in personal computers and related software
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • Ensure systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and adhered to
  • Identify and develop internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions
  • Manage daily activities to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional guest service
  • Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally ensuring positive resolution
  • Utilize management information tools to analyze restaurant performance data and implement action plans for improvement
  • Focus on increasing restaurant sales and profitability by executing the Service Profit Chain
  • Monitor costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and brand image
  • Serve as a role model for excellent guest service
  • Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
  • Treat employees with respect and dignity and recognize their contributions
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Make high quality decisions based on experience, policy, and knowledge
  • Attend to priorities, delegate work, and systematically conduct follow up
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
