Job Duties

  • Manage a Food & Beverage outlet including restaurant, bar, banquets or events
  • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
  • Recruit, manage, train and develop the Food & Beverage team
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work within budgeted guidelines related to food and payroll
  • Drive sales to maximize budgeted revenue
  • Develop menus with other Food & Beverage team members
  • Accountable for monthly stock takes
  • Incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue
  • Set departmental targets, objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels focusing on continuous improvement
  • Conduct communication meetings and generate post-meeting minutes
  • Maintain environmental awareness
  • Assist other departments and maintain good working relationships
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
