Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma required for internal promotion
- AA degree acceptable for external candidates
- BA/BS in Business or related field preferred
- Minimum 1+ years experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
- Minimum 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruitment
- Must complete Restaurant Manager training classes
- Must be ServSafe certified
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Able to stand and walk 85-95 percent of shift
- Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
- Willingness to use personal vehicle for bank deposits and business travel
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required for internal promotion
- Working toward AA or BA/BS degree preferred for internal promotion
- AA degree acceptable for external candidates
- BA/BS in Business or related field preferred for external candidates
- Minimum 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
- Minimum 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external candidates
- Must be ServSafe certified
- Must have completed Restaurant Manager training classes
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math concepts
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Proficient in personal computer and related software applications
- Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- Monitor staffing levels and employee development
- Implement training systems for employees on workstations
- Identify and develop internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions
- Ensure execution of "My Promise to You" and the Service Profit Chain
- Create an employee-friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- Treat all employees with respect and dignity
- Regularly recognize and reward employees
- Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws
- Manage daily activities to achieve operational excellence
- Train and hold team accountable for guest service and food quality
- Review and improve guest service practices
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards
- Respond to guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
- Serve as a role model for excellent guest service
- Utilize Jack in the Box systems, processes, and tools effectively
