Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • must complete Restaurant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification required
  • ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform basic math operations
  • analytical skills
  • good organizational and planning skills
  • self-starter with initiative
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • ability to use a personal vehicle for business purposes
  • physical ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of shift
  • ability to lift 10-65 lbs
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
  • ability to operate a computer keyboard

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
  • minimum of 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal candidates
  • minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external candidates
  • must be ServSafe certified
  • proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • valid driver’s license and insurance
  • ability to complete Restaurant Manager training classes
  • proficiency with personal computers and software
  • demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • implement training systems for workstations
  • identify and develop internal candidates for leadership positions
  • ensure execution of Service Profit Chain and My Promise to You
  • create a positive, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
  • motivate and inspire employees
  • comply with labor laws and regulations
  • manage daily restaurant operations to achieve excellence
  • ensure consistent guest service and food quality
  • handle guest concerns and complaints professionally
  • maintain restaurant cleanliness and brand image
  • analyze operational and financial performance
  • develop and implement action plans for improvement
  • focus on increasing sales and profitability
  • monitor costs and adherence to budgets
  • perform other duties as assigned
