Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years prior restaurant experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining
  • prior leadership experience
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • ability to stand for entire shifts and walk for long periods
  • ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to use hands and fingers to handle objects
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • ability to taste and smell
  • ability to verbally communicate effectively
  • visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • ability to access all restaurant areas including sales floor, stock room, and register area
  • willingness to follow all safety and sanitation guidelines including CDC, local, and state regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Supervise restaurant staff and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • build store sales through execution of marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations including cost controls and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness
  • control cash, security procedures, financial reports, and schedules
  • manage food costs via recipes, portion control, and inventory
  • control labor costs using company scheduling tools
  • perform all other assigned duties
