Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years prior leadership experience
  • prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining preferred
  • ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • meet state age requirements for alcohol-serving establishments
  • ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods
  • ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach with hands
  • ability to use hands to handle objects
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • ability to taste and smell
  • ability to verbally communicate
  • ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus
  • ability to access all restaurant areas including sales floor, stock, and register areas

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior while creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • occasionally assist team members with job duties
  • assist with building store sales by executing corporate and local marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues maintaining 100% satisfaction
  • assist in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, health, safety codes, and company policies are met
  • enforce safe work behaviors for guests and employees
  • monitor daily activities to ensure food quality and cleanliness
  • control daily operations including cash control, financial reviews, and scheduling
  • control food costs by following recipes, portion control, and inventory management
  • control labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance
  • perform all other assigned duties
