Job Duties

  • Supervise restaurant staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline staff
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members
  • model professional behavior to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with duties when needed
  • support sales growth through execution of marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations and cost controls
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control daily operations including cash control and reviewing financial reports
  • manage food costs through portion control and inventory management
  • control labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance
  • perform other duties as assigned
