Job Requirements

  • Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
  • Bending/stooping/kneeling required frequently
  • Routine standing for duration of shift
  • Safely maneuvering types of equipment such as hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools
  • Scheduled shifts determined by business needs

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant or food and beverage management
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Proven ability to recruit and develop team members
  • Understanding of marketing and community engagement strategies

Job Duties

  • Develop and streamline restaurant processes in partnership with the General Manager while ensuring consistent execution of company policies and procedures
  • Hire and mentor the best and brightest, assisting employees with career development strategies to understand Tommy Bahama values
  • Facilitate implementation of company learning and training programs, follow-up and monitor performance to ensure transfer of learned skills on-the-job
  • Partner with GM in order to implement strategies to increase qualified applicants, including but not limited to proactively recruiting
  • Thoughtfully hire, develop, and mentor the team
  • Ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures
  • Incorporate and administer applicable safety programs for the restaurant, employees, and guests
  • Help create a clean, safe, professional and upbeat environment
  • Seek out marketing opportunities within the community and partner with retail to leverage the relationship during marketing and sales events
