Job Requirements
- Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
- Bending/stooping/kneeling required frequently
- Routine standing for duration of shift
- Safely maneuvering types of equipment such as hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools
- Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
Job Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant or food and beverage management
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Ability to develop and implement training programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Proven ability to recruit and develop team members
- Understanding of marketing and community engagement strategies
Job Duties
- Develop and streamline restaurant processes in partnership with the General Manager while ensuring consistent execution of company policies and procedures
- Hire and mentor the best and brightest, assisting employees with career development strategies to understand Tommy Bahama values
- Facilitate implementation of company learning and training programs, follow-up and monitor performance to ensure transfer of learned skills on-the-job
- Partner with GM in order to implement strategies to increase qualified applicants, including but not limited to proactively recruiting
- Thoughtfully hire, develop, and mentor the team
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures
- Incorporate and administer applicable safety programs for the restaurant, employees, and guests
- Help create a clean, safe, professional and upbeat environment
- Seek out marketing opportunities within the community and partner with retail to leverage the relationship during marketing and sales events
