Job Duties
- Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
- Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
- Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
- Monitor crew prep, production, and procedures to manage costs
- Track waste levels and monitor crew position procedures to minimize waste
- Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
- Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
- Monitor food costs to eliminate waste and theft
- Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew performance feedback
- Take service times and determine efficiency
- Train crew to respond promptly to customer needs and encourage customer courtesy
- Implement corrective actions to improve service times
- Train crew to solicit customer feedback
- Set and communicate daily service goals
- Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness and correct deficiencies
- Train crew in new products and initial skills
- Assist General Manager in training new managers
- Cross-train crew for efficient coverage
- Recognize high-performing crew members
- Ensure crew meets prep and production goals
- Monitor inventory levels and complete physical inventory
- Receive weekly food deliveries
- Maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
- Follow restaurant priorities and plans
- Ensure proper execution of standards during shifts
- Take appropriate corrective actions as needed
- Follow procedures outlined in the Operations manual
- Maintain safe working conditions
- Adhere to company cash control policies
- Report accidents promptly and accurately
- Address operational issues indicated by Health Department Inspectors
- Manage shifts using established guidelines
- Perform administrative duties as required
- Write crew schedules
- Comply with company standards for crew benefits
- Follow preventative maintenance programs
- Train and monitor crew to maintain equipment
