Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales
  • Review monthly budget and profit & loss statements
  • Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • Monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
  • Track waste levels using established procedures
  • Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
  • Monitor food costs to eliminate waste and theft
  • Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew performance feedback
  • Evaluate service times and train crew to meet customer needs efficiently
  • Train crew in customer courtesy and solicit customer feedback
  • Establish and communicate daily service goals
  • Train crew in maintaining restaurant cleanliness during shifts
  • Follow restaurant cleaning plan and correct deficiencies
  • Train crew on new products and assist in new manager training
  • Use Crew Orientation and Training process for new crew members
  • Cross-train crew to cover positions efficiently
  • Recognize and report high-performing crew members
  • Monitor inventory and complete physical inventory as required
  • Intake weekly food deliveries
  • Ensure security of cash, products, and equipment
  • Follow established restaurant priorities and plans
  • Ensure standards and procedures are executed during shifts
  • Manage shift to Quality, Service, and Cleanliness levels of 80% or better
  • Take appropriate action when anticipating or identifying problems
  • Follow Operations Manual procedures
  • Maintain safe working conditions
  • Adhere to cash control policies
  • Report accidents accurately
  • Resolve operational issues as indicated by Health Department
  • Manage shifts using guidelines and checklists
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned
  • Write crew schedule to meet objectives
  • Comply with company standards for crew benefits
  • Follow Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Train and monitor equipment maintenance by crew
