Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least three years of work experience in the restaurant industry
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • effective problem-solving skills
  • physical stamina to be on feet for long periods

Job Duties

  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff
  • create bar schedules to ensure adequate staffing
  • balance cash drawers
  • handle complaints, conflicts, questions, and suggestions from restaurant patrons and employees
  • ensure that equipment, lights, etc. are turned off and lock doors
  • answer phone calls and handle banquet information
  • be flexible and remain calm under stressful situations
