Job Requirements

  • Culinary certification, associates or higher degree preferred
  • Current valid driver's license in good standing
  • Current valid TABC license or able to obtain upon hire
  • Valid ServSafe or Food Manager Certificate or able to obtain upon hire
  • Must be able to pass Department of Motor Vehicle check and background check including credit and criminal
  • Must be committed to upholding company values and team-first mentality

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in managing a high-volume kitchen or restaurant
  • Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Cash management experience
  • Physical ability to lift approximately 50 lbs
  • 2-4 years of shift lead or restaurant manager experience highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily kitchen and restaurant operations ensuring high standards of food quality and service
  • Lead and motivate team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels ensuring freshness and proper preparation
  • Provide exceptional guest service by interacting with guests and addressing concerns promptly
  • Handle cash management and ensure accurate financial transactions
  • Train new team members in line with Southside Market standards and operational procedures
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health regulations, and licensing requirements
