Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods without rest
  • ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, stoop, and use hands for handling objects
  • ability to communicate verbally
  • physical capability to perform essential job functions
  • adherence to state age requirements for alcohol service where applicable

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members for guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • assist team members with tasks as needed
  • implement corporate and local marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily food quality and cleanliness
  • manage cash control and review financial reports
  • control food costs through recipe adherence and inventory management
  • control labor costs using scheduling tools
  • perform all other duties as assigned
