Job Requirements
- Previous food and beverage restaurant management experience including 3 meal dining and bar/lounge expertise
- experience with staffing, training, menu compliance, liquor and inventory control
- high mathematical, forecasting and budgeting expertise
- ability to navigate business computer programs
- present proper management attire and grooming
- leadership skills to guide staff and work with culinary management
- proficiency in food planning, preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, record keeping, and report preparation
- ability to develop and update SOPs
- responsible for restaurant profitability and operational soundness
- ability to hire, train, develop and motivate staff
- monitor employee performance and enforce policy adherence
- ability to mentor large groups
- wine knowledge and pairing skills
- ability to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies
- advanced menu creation and development skills
- ability to lead teams of managers
- ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- competency with all computer software programs
- willingness to perform reasonable management requests
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years management experience in a high volume free standing or hotel restaurant
- proficiency in Simphony or similar POS
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- knowledge of alcoholic beverage programs and ordering
- possession of valid Food Handler's and RBS certification
- ability to multi-task and communicate effectively
- strong scheduling and business planning skills
- flexibility under pressure
- good decision making skills and patience
Job Duties
- Manage restaurant operations for three meal dining and bar/lounge services
- control food, beverage, and labor costs to maximize profitability
- ensure staff training, development, and adherence to SOPs
- collaborate with culinary management to maintain food quality and presentation
- monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve issues
- implement and oversee liquor and inventory control procedures
- develop marketing strategies to increase sales and community engagement
