Job Requirements

  • Previous food and beverage restaurant management experience including three meal dining and bar/lounge expertise
  • Experience with staffing, training, menu compliance, liquor and inventory control
  • High level mathematical, forecasting and budgeting expertise
  • Ability to navigate business computer programs
  • Well groomed and present management attire at all times
  • Leadership abilities to guide staff and work with culinary management
  • Proficient in food planning, preparation, purchasing and sanitation
  • Ensure comprehensive SOPs are in place and current
  • Oversee all restaurant areas ensuring profitability and operational soundness
  • Develop SOP, staff training including service dining, wine and liquor certification
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing plans
  • Responsible for cost, labor, financial and operational standards
  • Hire, train, develop and motivate department employees
  • Monitor employee performance to ensure productivity and compliance
  • Ability to adjust staff as necessary
  • Ability to mentor, motivate and inspire large groups
  • Wine knowledge and pairing skills
  • Innovative ideas and marketing strategies
  • Develop creative marketing programs and work with Marketing team
  • Advanced knowledge in menu creation and development
  • Ability to lead large groups of managers
  • Effective English communication
  • Ability to utilize computer software programs
  • Willingness to perform all reasonable management requests

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years management experience in a high volume free standing or hotel restaurant management
  • Proficiency in Simphony or similar POS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of alcoholic beverage programs and ordering
  • Valid Food Handler's and RBS certification
  • Strong communication and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to schedule according to business demands
  • Ability to develop, enforce policies and procedures
  • Patience and good decision making skills
  • Flexibility under pressure

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Control food, beverage, and labor costs to optimize profitability
  • Hire, train, and develop restaurant staff and service teams
  • Maintain compliance with liquor, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures for all restaurant functions
  • Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams to enhance guest experience and promote events
  • Monitor employee performance and enforce adherence to resort policies and procedures
  • Implement marketing strategies to increase sales and community engagement
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting for the restaurant
  • Oversee inventory management and procurement processes
