Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • minimum 2 years in family, fast-food, or casual dining
  • college or culinary school preferred
  • ability to work varied shifts and weekends
  • compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements if applicable
  • physical ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods
  • ability to lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach, use hands, bend, stoop
  • able to taste, smell, verbally communicate
  • visual abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
  • able to access all restaurant areas
  • adheres to current safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • minimum 2 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise employees in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior to create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • occasionally assist team members with job duties
  • assist with building store sales by executing marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, health, safety codes, and company policies are met
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily activities for food quality and cleanliness
  • control cash, review financial reports and schedules
  • control food and labor costs by managing portion control, inventory, and scheduling
  • perform other duties as assigned
