Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
  • completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification
  • minimum of 1 year experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager (internal promote) or 3 years managing service concept with full P&L responsibility (external recruit)
  • ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • use of personal vehicle for bank deposits and travel
  • ability to stand and walk 85-95 percent of shift
  • ability to lift 10-65 lbs
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer keyboard

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum of one year experience as an Associate Manager or two years as a First Assistant Manager for internal promote candidates
  • minimum of three years management experience with full P&L responsibility for external recruits
  • ServSafe certification required

Job Duties

  • Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
  • monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • ensures training systems for workstations are implemented and adhered to
  • identifies and develops internal candidates for management and team leader positions
  • works with management team to execute "My Promise to You" and the Service Profit Chain
  • creates a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
  • motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance
  • treats employees with respect and dignity and recognizes contributions
  • manages daily restaurant operational performance
  • ensures excellent guest service and food quality
  • maintains visibility and interaction with guests
  • responds to guest concerns and resolves complaints
  • ensures team operates all systems correctly
  • maintains cleanliness, maintenance, and brand image
  • analyzes restaurant operational and financial performance
  • identifies trends and implements actions for improvement
