Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Commitment to maintain a safe and clean work environment

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • Assigning and directing work
  • Appraising performance
  • Rewarding and disciplining employees
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to ensure employee success and guest satisfaction
  • Modeling professional behavior while creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • Occasionally assisting team members with category job duties as needed
  • Assisting with building store sales and ensuring execution of corporate and local marketing programs
  • Championing sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meeting and greeting guests, investigating and resolving food quality and service issues
  • Assisting in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensuring OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies are met
  • Enforcing safe work behaviors
  • Monitoring daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Controlling day-to-day operations including cash control, reviewing financial reports, and schedules
  • Controlling food costs through recipes, portion control, and inventory management
  • Controlling labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance
  • Performing all other duties as assigned
