Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years prior experience in restaurant leadership
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • ability to adhere to safety and sanitation procedures
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • capacity to bend, stoop, and use hands for handling tasks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise employee performance
  • reward and discipline staff
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior fostering a warm and friendly atmosphere
  • occasionally assist with category job duties
  • assist in building store sales through marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, health and safety codes, and company security policies are met
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily activities for food quality and cleanliness
  • control cash handling, review financial reports and scheduling
  • manage food costs through portion control and inventory
  • monitor labor costs using scheduling tools
  • perform other assigned duties
