Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of experience in a server or bartender role preferably with leadership or training responsibilities
  • Able to work 45-50 hours per week
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and cost control
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Two years experience as a server or bartender preferably with training experience and leadership responsibilities
  • Positive, friendly, and approachable demeanor with a passion for delivering excellent service
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with team and guests
  • Strong work ethic and drive to succeed and grow
  • Ability to model enthusiasm and motivate others to follow your lead
  • Experience in coaching or mentoring staff
  • Familiarity with labor laws and scheduling practices

Job Duties

  • Ensure success of guest service and guest experience
  • Cost control including food, bar, labor, ordering and inventory
  • Oversee staff before, during and after service
  • Provide training and coaching of standards
  • Shift planning and scheduling of staff for anticipated business flow
  • Ensure labor law compliance
  • Perform opening and/or closing duties of the restaurant
  • Coach and motivate team to support and align with company culture and business needs
  • Implement specials and marketing initiatives, scheduling and inventory
  • Assist in interviewing and orientation of new team members
