Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of experience in a server or bartender role preferably with leadership or training responsibilities
- Able to work 45-50 hours per week
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and cost control
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Two years experience as a server or bartender preferably with training experience and leadership responsibilities
- Positive, friendly, and approachable demeanor with a passion for delivering excellent service
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with team and guests
- Strong work ethic and drive to succeed and grow
- Ability to model enthusiasm and motivate others to follow your lead
- Experience in coaching or mentoring staff
- Familiarity with labor laws and scheduling practices
Job Duties
- Ensure success of guest service and guest experience
- Cost control including food, bar, labor, ordering and inventory
- Oversee staff before, during and after service
- Provide training and coaching of standards
- Shift planning and scheduling of staff for anticipated business flow
- Ensure labor law compliance
- Perform opening and/or closing duties of the restaurant
- Coach and motivate team to support and align with company culture and business needs
- Implement specials and marketing initiatives, scheduling and inventory
- Assist in interviewing and orientation of new team members
